Our Challenges

The tattoo industry faces significant hurdles that disrupt user experiences. Customers struggle to find trustworthy artists, compare portfolios, or secure appointments, often relying on fragmented platforms like social media or in-person inquiries. Artists lack effective tools to gain visibility, manage bookings, or showcase their work, while shop owners face challenges in coordinating artists, tracking appointments, and maintaining operations. Additionally, establishing trust is paramount customers require verified artist credentials, and artists need reliable client information to ensure smooth interactions. These issues underscore the need for a streamlined, user-centric platform.

Our Approach

TapTattoo was developed to bridge the gap between customers, artists, and shop owners, creating a cohesive and efficient tattoo ecosystem. Our approach focused on designing a user-centric platform tailored to each user type, ensuring intuitive navigation and accessibility. We prioritized scalability to support future enhancements like multi-location management and payment integrations, while incorporating inclusive features such as OTP verification and multilingual support. By integrating trust-building elements like license uploads, verified profiles, and transparent reviews, TapTattoo fosters confidence and engagement, delivering a comprehensive solution for the tattoo industry.

TapTattoo delivers a concise set of features tailored to customers, artists, and shop owners, revolutionizing the tattoo experience.

1. Appointment Management: TapTattoo centralizes appointment tasks, allowing customers to request consultations or bookings and track statuses (Requested, Accepted, Rejected, Ongoing, Completed). Artists and shop owners manage requests, provide quotes (hours, price, sessions), and schedule appointments, with rescheduling and messaging for seamless coordination.

2. Portfolio and Profile System: Artists create verified profiles with portfolios (manual or social media uploads, post-MVP), showcasing licenses and expertise. Customers explore and filter portfolios by style, while shop owners manage artist profiles to enhance visibility and trust.

3. Community Engagement: TapTattoo fosters community through artist referrals, QR code invites, and real-time notifications for appointment updates. Customers post reviews, and artists engage clients via follow-ups, building stronger connections.

4. Trust and Verification: The platform ensures trust with OTP logins, email/mobile verification, and license uploads. An admin approval system provides transparent feedback, giving customers confidence in verified credentials and secure interactions.
